Full form of NCGG
The full form of NCGG is the national centre for good governance.
About NCGG
- It was set up in 2014 by the government of India as autonomous institute under the ministry of personnel, public grievances, and pensions.
- The centre traces its origin from the national institute of administrative research (NIAR) which was set up by the Lal Bahadur Shastri national academy of administration (LBSNAA).
- It is government of India’s training institute for civil services. The NIAR is now NCGG.
Function of NCGG
- Deals government issues with local, states to national level to all sectors
- It works as think tank
- Working in the areas of primary and elementary education
- Decentralized planning at district and block levels
- Capacity building of panchayat raj institutions
- Rural development
- Water, sanitation and hygiene
- Public sector management
NCGG Internship
The NCGG internship programme is short term for selected students with various verticals of unit of the national centre for good governance, ministry of personnel, public grievances & pensions, government of India.
Who can apply
- All Indian studying in India or abroad
- Students enrolled in 4- or 5-year courses in law and engineering can apply
- Students with graduation degree and/or are perusing post-graduation
- Application for NCGG will be open for submission for 1st to the 10th of each month.
