Highest Property Card
The preparation and distribution of Property Cards on the basis of maps generated under SVAMITVA Scheme by the Survey of India is the responsibility of the respective State Government. As on 6th December 2023, 1.63 crores Property Cards have been prepared by the States. The State-wise and Year-wise data on Property Cards prepared by the States under the SVAMITVA scheme (Cumulative Data) is given below:

Here the top five states provide property card in India are Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

State Government Responsibility for SVAMITVA scheme
As per the guidelines of the SVAMITVA scheme, the state government is responsible for future updatation of conducting surveys on regular basis and rural property data. The state government is responsible for the mechanism for the updatation of property data. The state revenue department maintain data of property. It is sole responsibility to provide official property data time to time.
