Stay Safe Online Campaign
The Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, Communications and Railways Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw has launched the “Stay Safe Online” campaign and the “G20 Digital Innovation Alliance” (G20-DIA), here today.
Aim of Stay Safe Online Campaign
- To raise awareness among citizens to stay safe in the online world due to the widespread use of social media platforms and the rapid adoption of digital payments.
- As the number of internet users increases in India, technology has unique challenges.
- This campaign will make citizens of all age groups including children, students, women, senior citizens, specially-abled, teachers, faculty, officials of Central/State Governments etc. aware of the cyber risk and how to dela with it.
Awareness of Stay Safe Online Campaign
- This campaign will be carried out in Hindi, English and local languages in order to reach all over India.
- The campaign in the forms of cartoon stories, short videos, in the form of infographics etc.
- The government of India makes its publicity, promotion and outreach activities would be carried out throughout the year through print through social media platform and other media.
