Full Form of MSO

The full form of MSO is Multi System Operators Registration.

• The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has today issued its recommendations on “Renewal of Multi-System Operators (MSOs) Registration.
• The Digitization of Indian broadcasting sector began in 2012 and completed in March 2017. 
• The ministry of information and broadcasting issued first registration of MSO during June 2012, which becomes renewal in June 2022. The renewal of MSO registration is done for 10 years.

Process Fee of MSO

• The process fee for renewal should be kept as Rs 1 Lakh.
