Maunakea Spectroscopic Explorer
The Maunakea Spectroscopic Explorer is an 11.25 m aperture telescope. It will lead the world in multi object spectroscopy, its unique capability to study up to 4,000 astronomical objects at once. It will replace the iconic 3.6 m Canada – France Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) on the summit of Maunakea. It is world class astronomical site.
