7 Important thing to know about Veterans Day

The United States celebrates 103rd Veterans Day on 11th November, 2022 in honor of who served in the US armed forces.

The USA President Woodrow Wilson declared 11th November as Armistice Day honoring armed person who served US Armed forces, at the end of World War I.

It is originally called as Armistice Day because the day, marked as the end of World War I on the 11th hour, 11th month in 1918.

The Veterans Day is celebrated 11th November every year, if the date on Saturday or Sunday, it is celebrated on Friday before or Monday after.

The armistice day officially known as Veterans Day on 1st June, 1954. The Federal and bank holiday on the veteran day.

Earlier, the Veterans Day was celebrated on 4th Monday of October but in September 1975, President Gerald ford signed a law for veterans’ day on 11th November.
