- The IRDA released report for year 2021 – 22 in which top five companies are SBI followed by HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd and Max Life Insurance Company Ltd.

- The SBI collects Rs 25,457 Crore insurance premium in the year 2021 – 22 in the private sector insurance company which is 21.96% of the total premium collection.
- Top three companies’ collections are 21.96%, 20.83% and 13.37% means that it covers 54% of the total insurance out of all companies not considering LIC.

- According to IRDA data of premium collection for year 2021 – 22, SBI life insurance is 1st, HDFC life insurance is 2nd choice and ICICI is 3rd choice.
