• The full form of SVPNPA is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy.

Mission of SVPNPA

• The mission of the academy is to be prepare leaders for the Police department in India who will lead the force with courage, dedication and sense of service to the people.
• The academy will try to inculcate integrity of highest order, respect of human rights, high standard of professionalism, physical fitness and mental alertness.
• The focal point of the academy is to provide training all over the India and also provide consultancy service for similar institutions.

• The SVPNPA aspire to be a Global Center of Excellence and the Nodal Center of Police Training in India – setting Benchmarking Standards, leading the Network of Police Training Institutions in the country.
