About ETSSE
- The Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) was set up in 1999, with the objective of providing more focused approach on the integrated socio-economic development of the Scheduled Tribes (STs), the most underprivileged of the Indian Society, in a coordinated and planned manner.
- The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has been to take various initiatives for overall upliftment of Tribals across the country.
- In order to provide quality education to ST students and education development is a stepping-stone to economic and social up liftment and is also the most effective instrument for overall empowerment.
- In The Eklaya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) have been established which are co-educational residential schools from Class VI to XII in order to achieve goal to impart quality education to ST students.
