According to MOSPI ( Ministry of statics and program implementation ) report 2017 – 18 , there is 12.7 drop out in the Diploma college. This is just statical data, it may be higher than this one. The drop out may be due to

- College is far off
- Language / medium of instruction
- Failure in studies

Poor result
- Drop out of students
- 20 – 30 % students comes from nearby villages which is 30 – 50 km away from college
- Language is major barrier: what students speak ( village language ) , write in the answer sheet same way
- Some students have financial constraints
- 40 – 50% students are first generation students
- Lack for future awareness during first year
Major drop out during first year
- First semester completes in short span.
- Student’s registration process, accommodation and other procedure completes in a month. Before students understand diploma system, exam comes and this is main reason for backlog in the first year.
