  • Soft launch of ‘Open challenge program – 1’ and center of entrepreneurship on Industry 4.0 starts virtually at Kalpataru on 20thSeptember, 2022.
  • Minister of education and skill development launched the SCALE (Skill certification assessment for leather employees) application provides one step solution for skilling, learning, assessment and employment needs of the leather industry.
  • ISRO and NASA are working together to launch a joint radar satellite for earth observation named NISAR (NASA-ISRO synthetic Aperture Radar). The NISAR will collect data vital to tackling the climate crisis.
  • Railway protection force (RPF) celebrated its 38th raising day on 20th September, 2022. This is first time that national level parade of RPF is organized outside New Delhi at Lucknow.
  • Railway released quarterly e-magazine Rail Sainik of RPF released.
  • The 11th foundation day of solar energy corporation of India limited(SECI) is celebrated on 20th September, 2022.
  • The All-India Consumer Price Index Number for Agricultural Labourers and Rural Labourers (Base: 1986-87=100) for the month of August, 2022 increased by 9 points each to stand at 1140 (One thousand one hundred and forty) and 1152 (One thousand one hundred and fifty-two) points respectively.
  • The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) was established in 1977 under the auspices of UNESCO. It is a unique regional inter-governmental organization servicing in the field of electronic media development. It is hosted by the Government of Malaysia and the secretariat is located in Kuala Lumpur. The Lifetime Achievement Award for 2021 was given to Mr. Khieu Khanharith, Minister of Information and Communication, Cambodia. The Lifetime Achievement Award for 2022 was conferred on Shri Mayank Agarwal, CEO, PB and President, AIBD (Asia Pacific institute for broadcasting development).
  • Central Bureau of Narcotics destroys 1,032 hectares of illicit cannabis (ganja)cultivation in Himachal Pradesh.
  • Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) organized LEADS – 2022 at New Delhi.
  • Central Government invest more than Rs. 70,000 Crore in the fisheries sector by the year 2024 – 25 under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana.
  • Under the PLI scheme for Food processing with an incentive of Rs 10,900 crore in the next 6 years under the Krishi Udan Scheme, assistance and incentive are being provided for the movement of agricultural products by air transport.
