RTO Related New Rules
- MoRTH has issued S.O. 4353(E) on 16 September 2022, through which a total of 58 citizen-centric services related to driving license, conductor license, vehicle registration, permit, transfer of ownership etc. can be now availed completely online, eliminating the need to visit the RTO.
- The application of Trade Certificate and Trade Registration Marks can be made electronically on the VAHAN PORTAL, no need to visit RTO. The validity of trade certificate increased from 12 months to 5 years. Trade certificate is required in the case of vehicle is neither registered nor temporarily registered.
- The Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of MSME, which was launched in September 2008.
- KVIC ( Khadi and Village Industries Commission ) is the nodal Agency at the national level to implement the scheme designated by Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
- India was celebrating Independence Day on 15th August, 1947 but Hyderabad did not get Independence. The Telangana, Marathwada and Kalyan Karnataka become independent between 13 to 17 September, 1948. The Hyderabad liberation day is celebrated on 17th September every year. Tax Related New Rules
- Some of the major changes made for the benefits of taxpayers include making offence punishable under section 276 of the act as compoundable.
- The time limit for acceptance of compounding applications has been relaxed from the earlier limit of 24 months to 36 months now from the date of filing of complaint. Additional compounding charges in the nature of penalty interest @2% per month up to 3 months and 3% per month beyond 3 months have been reduced to 1% and 2% respectively,
