Swami Vivekananda Scholarship: Eligibility

This Swami Vivekananda Scholarship scholarship is given to meritorious students of minorities communities i.e. Buddhist, Christian, Jain, Muslim, Parsee & Sikh Students.

Class XI to Post Graduate Courses

Students domiciled in West Bengal and pursing post matric level in regular course are eligible.
Institute must be located in the West Bengal
Students must be clearing the examinations of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education / West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education / West Bengal Madrasah Education Board or Form other recognized board of West Bengal.
Students must have passed his / her examination in the current year i.e. 2020
Annual income of family should not exceed Rs 2.5 Lakhs
Scholarship range from Rs 12,000 to Rs. 60,000 per annum

Eligibility Criteria

Higher secondary, Polytechnic & Graduation	75%
Post-Graduation Courses	53% in Honours Subject
Master in Engineering	55% in Engineering

If student received scholarship in the year of 2019 – 20 and securing at least 60% in the under graduate and 50% in the post graduate course in the last examination are eligible for renewal.

Domiciled in West Bengal candidate should only apply
Student have passed last examination with at least 50% marks
Student is eligible for a scholarship from any one source only
Merit based 10+ 2 result / Equivalent examinations
One mobile number can be used for one application only
In case of , pre – matric scholarship, maximum of two applications can be filled through one mobile number.
Take print out of application after fill up forms and submit it to concern institute with photo copy of pass book / cancelled cheque including IFSC code.
