The full form of SVAMITVA Scheme is Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised Technologies in Village Areas.
About SVAMITVA Scheme
- It is a Central Sector Scheme of Ministry of Panchayati Raj. It was national wide launched by was nation-wide launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on National Panchayati Raj Day, 24th April 2021 after successful completion of pilot phase of scheme (2020-2021) in 9 states.
- It is a reformative scheme for property ownership in rural inhabited areas by mapping of land parcels using drone technology and provide record of rights to village house hold owners providing legal ownership cards say property card / title deed.
- This scheme is implemented by effort of the ministry of Panchayati Raj, State Revenue Department, State Panchayati Raj Department and Survey of India
This scheme covers following aspects

- Enabling bank load
- Reduce property related disputes
- Comprehensive village level planning
